    In this lecture, UCF Professor Dr. Daniel Murphree will examine Florida as it functioned as a frontier and borderland prior to the 20th century. Dr. Murphree specializes in Florida and Native American Studies. He is the author of Constructing Floridians: Natives and Europeans in the Colonial Floridas, 1513 – 1783.
