Enjoy a closer look at the moon and planets and learn more about our nearest celestial neighbors! Astronomy enthusiasts from StarSplitter Adventures will have telescopes set up in the parking lot near the entrance to the library so you can observe the craters of the moon, the red planet Mars, the bright cloud bands of Jupiter and other wonders of the night sky. The astronomers will answer questions and explain what can be seen though the telescope as well as with the naked eye.
