  • Inkwood Books will host New York Times bestselling author, Mike Lupica at the Jan Platt Library. Lupica will be discussing and signing Hero, his newest book for young adults. In a departure from his sports novels, Lupica here pays tribute to his favorite comic book heroes while retaining his crackling dialogue, sharply drawn characters, and a protagonist full of heart.

    Lupica writes a nationally syndicated column for The New York Daily News, and is seen weekly on ESPN's The Sports Reporter. He will be signing books purchased either at the store before the event, or at the library the day of event.

See the moon's thousands of craters and mountains at high magnification and view the mighty planet Jupiter with its moons and cloud belts. We will also be searching for star clusters and double stars.

    Clear Sky’s staff will be happy to answer your questions and will not only demonstrate the latest in telescope technology, but they will give you great tips for enjoying the night skies with just your eyes and nothing else. They will also provide an imaging system for anyone who might have difficulty viewing through the telescopes.
