Discover Prehistoric Florida

Monday, Aug. 5 at 2:30 p.m. at the Austin Davis Public Librar  17808 Wayne Road in Odessa

Learn about Florida’s past through archaeology and the clues that are found. Archaeologists from the Florida Public Archaeology Network at USF will give a presentation complete with real artifacts and replicas of tools that ancient Floridians would have used to survive.

For children in grades K to 5.

Presented in partnership with the Florida Public Archaeology Network. This program is part of the Viva Florida 500 celebration, a statewide initiative led by the Florida Department of State to highlight the 500 years of historic people, places and events in Florida since the arrival of Juan Ponce de León in 1513.
