Join the Friends of the Jimmie B. Keel Regional Library in celebrating April as National Poetry Month and Jazz Appreciation Month. Poets Erica Dawson, Debra Gingerich, Peter Meinke and Gianna Russo will read their original poetry. They will be accompanied by the jazz of the Michael Ross Duo, with Michael Ross on double bass and Daniel Jordan on saxophone.

Funded by the Friends of the Jimmie B. Keel Regional Library and the University of South Florida Humanities Institute. The winner of the Lit Wit Humorous Poetry Contest will be invited to read their winning poem. The Lit Wit Humorous Poetry Contest is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Jimmie B.
