The musical "James and the Giant Peach" tells the story of poor James, seemingly destined to live a miserable, lonely life with his wicked aunts- that is, until a magical day when James spills magic crystals on his aunts’ peach tree. From the tree sprouts a single peach that grows and grows, until it eventually grows so large that James climbs aboard and rolls away from his miserable life and into a fantastical journey with his new friends Grasshopper, Earthworm, Miss Spider, and Centipede. Based on Roald Dahl’s beloved children’s book. Performed by the Tampa Prep Theatre students.
