Young adult author, G. Neri is a storyteller, filmmaker, artist and digital media producer. The 2011 Coretta Scott King Author Award winner has written four provocative, edgy books for teens: Chess Rumble, Yummy: the Last Days of a Southside Shorty, Surf Mules, and his latest, Ghetto Cowboy, a street-smart tale about a displaced teen who learns to defend what’s right the “cowboy way.”
