SNAPSHOT DAY 2011 IS A HUGE SUCCESS

The Florida Library Association, in conjunction with the Florida Division of Library and Information Services, organized Snapshot Day 2011. Snapshot Days are meant to be a simple, effective way to capture all the ways that libraries offer vital services every single day. On January 25, libraries all over the state documented, through statistics, stories and photographs, "a day in the life" of their library. This data will then be aggregated and the result is intended to provide powerful statistics that show the positive impact libraries have on their communities all over the state on a daily basis.

Snapshot Day was a fun and exciting opportunity for Tampa-Hillsborough Public Libraries to come together with our communities and show that impact right here in our neighborhood and thanks to all the great support, our Snapshot Day was a huge success! We received over 500 comments from our customers, gathered some important statistics, and took some great photos.
