ASTRONOMY REVEALED

  • Learn little known facts about the universe around us such as black holes, double stars, and Einstein’s theory that there are possibly worm holes that bend time and space. Attendees will take a brief, fun quiz which will test their knowledge of astronomy and expand their knowledge about the universe.

    The program for adults will conclude with a brief question and answer period and a discussion of some of the more interesting celestial events that will occur in the near future including the upcoming Leonids Meteor Shower, Saturn’s closest approach to Earth this year, and the latest exploits of the two Mars rovers Opportunity and Spirit.
