Local author Ersula Odom will speak at the Florida History & Genealogy Library about her new book, African Americans of Tampa, inspired by her love of Tampa’s African American history. She will discuss the stories behind the photographs she selected for the book and her experience working with the library’s photographic collection. A Burgert Brothers photographic display will accompany Odom’s presentation and a book signing will follow the program.
