A poetry slam is a competition amongst poets. For the uninitiated and for the veterans, it is a place to freely and creatively express experiences and gain an appreciation of diverse views. Bring friends and poems; bring the blissful, bring the pitiful; bring the charming and the banal; bring the night its perfect rhythm. A prize will be awarded to the winning poet. Refreshments will be provided.
For adults ages 20 years and up.
