In his book, Zeller recounts life on a farm in the 1940s and all the hard work it entailed. He recounts his father’s cold, harsh rule and how it affected the rest of his family. Zeller's story, encompassing love, hate, happiness, sorrow, romance, humor and hope is one about families, understanding the past, and learning to forgive.
